Clinton F. Gibson

April 25, 1947 - February 19, 2022

Clinton Francis Gibson, 74, of Paragould, AR formerly of Mozier, IL (along with several other surrounding towns) passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born April 25, 1947, in Moizer, Illinois, to Floyd Cleveland Gibson and Ethel L. Laird/Bland. Clinton enjoyed playing guitar and singing with family. He also enjoyed playing and singing at local retirement homes. Clinton loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Clinton always had plenty of free ad-vice to share with everyone who wanted it and anyone who didn’t too. His advice, stories, and music will truly be missed. Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Jack and Chalmer Gibson, two sons Robert and Terry Wayne Gibson, one granddaughter Jessica Gibson, one grandson Robbie Gibson and one great-grandson Jude. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Nancy Marie Howland; daughter, Martina Helms, son, Kenneth P Gibson; son and daughter-in-law, Paul A. Edwards and Danette daughter and son-in-law, Kimberley and Wesley Stokes, son and daughter-in-law, Clinton Dale Gibson and Misty; extended family, Mark Scholtmann; brothers, Russel and James Gibson; grandchildren, Josh (Tiffany) Scholtmann, Chrissy (Brock) Stortzum, Destiny Gibson, Terry Gibson, Damon Gibson, Ricky (Denise) Pratt, Danika Pratt (Zach), Katlin (Alexis) Edwards, Dakota Hughes, Tylar Gibson, Elaina Clayton, Casey Clayton, Meagan King, Joseph (Brea) Gibson, Jacob (Destiny) Gibson, Thax (Haley) Armstrong, Sierah Armstrong (Jayson), Piper Mitchem, Valley Mitchem, Zane Gibson, Silas Gibson; and 27 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 22, at 1:00 p.m. for a graveside service at Fox Creek Cemetery. Fellowship to follow at The Kampsville American Legion. We will also have a drop-in memorial in Paragould, AR for our local friends and family Sunday, February 27th from 3-5 pm at the home of Clinton and Nancy.
